Itinerary
Arrival: Meet and greet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to visit nearby attractions like the Karen Blixen Museum or Giraffe Centre. Overnight: Nairobi hotel.
Morning: After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya. The drive offers scenic views as you pass through lush highlands and arid plains. Afternoon: Arrive in time for lunch and settle into your lodge or tented camp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot unique wildlife species like the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Samburu.
Morning & Afternoon: Full-day game drives exploring the reserve’s rugged landscapes. Watch for elephants, lions, leopards, and the rare species that thrive in this region. Cultural Experience: Option to visit a Samburu village and learn about the traditions and lifestyle of this indigenous community. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Samburu.
Morning: Depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a leading conservancy known for its rhino sanctuary and chimpanzee rescue center. Afternoon: After lunch, explore the conservancy on a game drive, with a chance to see the endangered black and white rhinos, lions, and elephants. Visit: Explore the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary within the conservancy. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Ol Pejeta.
Morning: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its alkaline lake and flamingo populations. Afternoon: Arrive for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Look out for rhinos, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Lake Nakuru.
Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a game drive around Lake Nakuru before heading to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. Afternoon: Take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos and a variety of bird species. Optional Activity: Crescent Island walking safari. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Lake Naivasha.
Morning: Depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara, passing through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Afternoon: Arrive in time for lunch and head out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park's vast plains, home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, and more. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Maasai Mara.
Morning & Afternoon: Spend two full days exploring the Maasai Mara with game drives, searching for the Big Five and, if traveling between July and October, witnessing the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Cultural Experience: Optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about the culture and way of life of the Maasai people. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Maasai Mara.
Morning: Depart for Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Afternoon: Arrive for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive with stunning views of the mountain and large herds of elephants. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Amboseli.
Morning & Afternoon: Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli, spotting elephants, lions, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species. Take in the incredible scenery with Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Amboseli.
Morning: Depart for Tsavo West National Park, known for its rugged landscapes, volcanic hills, and the famous Mzima Springs. Afternoon: After lunch, take a game drive to explore the park’s rich wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, and leopards. Overnight: Lodge/camp in Tsavo West.
Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive or visit the Shetani Lava Flows. Later, depart for Nairobi. Afternoon: Arrive in Nairobi in time for your flight or be transferred to your hotel if you are staying an extra night.
